About Us

 I may not be a professional chef, but as an ordinary Korean woman with a passion for sharing homemade Korean food with my Swedish friends, I’m excited to introduce you to Dosirak.

Korea and Sweden are very different in many ways, but as a Korean living in Sweden, I’ve always wanted to bring these two cultures closer together. To help with this, I’ve written two books about Sweden to introduce the country to Korean readers. Now, with Dosirak, I hope to introduce Korea to Swedish people through the love of food.

Although Korean food is gaining popularity worldwide, it’s still unfamiliar to many in Sweden. That’s why I boldly decided to open Dosirak, using my mother’s cherished recipes.

I believe that opening Dosirak is the best decision I’ve made as a Korean living in Sweden, and I’m excited to share this journey with you.
